On the second morning, breakfast turned out to be less appealing and slightly chaotic with too many guests and too few staff members, making restocking of both food and drinks a challenge. On the first morning breakfast too was very good with several hot and cold choices. Drury’s 5:30 Kickback was great during our stay with good food and some nice drinks to follow. However, the proximity to the heavy traffic may be an issue if you are a light sleeper. We found our spacious room clean and equipped with the usual Drury amenities. The hotel lobby appeared nice and clean, and helpful staff at the front desk gave us a nice map of Montgomery. We found access to the hotel a bit tricky, but it is a convenient location. The hotel is located a ten minutes drive east of downtown Montgomery at the intersection of I-85 and US-231.
